Seven AbbyPD Officers attended the 2023 World Police & Fire Games in Winnipeg to participate in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions on August 4 and 5th. After two days of hard matches in Gi and No-Gi events, they collectively brought home 8 Medals (3 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze).

Between July 7th, 2023, and August 7th, 2023, AbbyPD officers removed 149 high-risk drivers from our communities roadways. That's 149 potentially fatal outcomes prevented. Join our commitment to keeping Abby's roads safe and drive responsibly. #roadsafetymatters

So sorry to hear of the passing of Delta Police Department Justice Facility Dog Caber. I had the chance to meet Caber several years ago & it inspired us Abbotsford Police Department to meet with PADS & get Cheddar our own support dog. Amazing dogs providing support & comfort to those in need.

Today marked the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. In tribute, numerous AbbyPD staff completed 2071 steps, representing the 110 floors of the World Trade Centre buildings 1 &2. Today we remember those who lost their lives, their families, the survivors, and the emergency responders.

Heavy hearts and anger today to learn that we lost another hero. Ridge Meadows RCMP Cst. O'Brien was serving and protecting his community & I have no words for how tragic his loss is to us all. We stand with our BCRCMP sisters & brothers & will never forget Cst. O'Brien's sacrifice.

A heavy three day Run and Ride to Remember to the BCLEMemorial Bastion. Humbled to be with such amazing police & peace officers who refuse to let evil win and know that a hero remembered never dies. We are stonger together & are there for our BCRCMP brothers & sisters.

Today at the BCLEMemorial we remembered our 131 fallen heroes whose names are forever etched on the Bastion. We remember Cst. Yang who died serving her community & sadly, we must add the name of Cst. O'Brien next year. Thank you to those who choose serve & protect. #Respect
