A dream shared by six Métis scholars from across the country has come true. They're publishing the first issue of a Métis-specific journal, called Pawaatamihk: Journal of Métis Thinkers.

The Anishinabek Curriculum Enhancement project was launched in October 2022. Ten authors have developed 10 units to enhance existing curriculum with local Anishinabek content. PLEASE JOIN US in the launch of these units as we will highlight THREE authors and their contributions.

The grade 5/6 class took part in a smudging ceremony. Smudging is a cultural ceremony practiced by a wide variety of Indigenous people in Canada. Smudging is the practice of burning various medicinal plants to cleanse and connect us with our spirit and with the Creator.#pvnccdsb
