If you cheat a workout, you’re only cheating yourself. If you take shortcuts, you’ll pay the consequences eventually. But if you respect your craft and do things the right way, even when no one is watching, you’ll be rewarded with great results.

As an athlete, it’s great to have individual goals, but make sure they are compatible with your team’s goals. If your individual goals are in conflict with your team’s goals, you need to get over yourself and put the team first!
