It’s official!!! I am excited to announce I will be the Anne Fox Elementary PE teacher starting this fall! I would like to thank everyone who has helped me along in my journey, and am excited to get started!

This week in PE: We have been working on underhand and overhand throwing! 1: 1st grade playing trash your neighbor’s yard 2: 4th grade playing tower takedown 3: 6th grade playing hand-ball 4: 2nd grade designing their ghosts and playing ghostbusters!

This week we wrapped up our first session of enrichment! We spanned from September to October so we did so many Hispanic Heritage Month themed activities! 1) We learned how to Salsa Dance 2) We played some soccer 3 and 4) We played ‘1,2,3 Calabaza’ and ‘Chiviri Cuarta’

We had a great time last week working on our volleying skills! 1) 5th graders playing Volleyball 4 square 2&3) 1st and 2nd graders practiced bumping and setting with balloons 4) 5&6 grade brushed up on their hits and serving, and then played a full game!

Happy Halloween! We have played some really fun Halloween games the past couple of days 1) Midnight Coyote, a candy-stealing scooter game with 3-6 2,3) K-2 played zombie tag and haunted house 4) ASD balancing the task of delivering candy to their baskets and… balancing!

The ASD classes had a great time this week working on their balancing and core strength through our obstacle course!

Our kindergartners had a great time learning how to move their bodies in new ways in our would-you-rather fitness videos!

We had snow this weekend, so 4th and 6th grade in enrichment got to build their own snowmobiles! Students had a set of supplies to work with, and then test ride to see what worked best! They got to race them at the end of class as well!

Our 3rd and 4th grade this week played Alphabet Pickleball! Students had to use their paddles to hit a tennis ball and knock down letters. With the letters they get, they have to try and spell a word!

It might be sunny at Anne Fox, but we are having a snow-tastic week! 1) Grades 4-6 are playing snowball strikerball 2) grades 1-3 are hunting for holiday trees with hula hoops 3) ASD took a ride on the polar express! #FoxRocks #FoxMicroMoments
