I'll take "being in local communities". For us that's a huge part of what politics actually is: listening to people about what matters to them. And then doing practical stuff to sort it out. Feels like the country is up for that, honestly.

The Lib Dems are really bloody good at local campaigning. Despite lacklustre national opinion polls, they have polled higher than Labour across avg of council by elections. Meanwhile, Reform is underperforming their implied polling position - suggesting a lack of organisation.
