Heard a speech from a coach talking about getting players to buy into each other, but Coaches also have to build a relationship with their players. Where commitment of player is seen. A relationship built on trust where coaches & players would run through walls for EACH other!

As a coach, your word as a man & your actions mean more to your players than anything else. You can’t allow some to come & go as they please to workouts then reward them before the ones putting in the work. “The Team” is watching & most likely why you lost them on day 1.

Coaches are always watching and good coaches reward these things because it creates culture.
