Maybe the strangest part about this food talk is that Asian cuisine is often dead simple. Rice, protein, a veg, pour some stuff on. The really involved stuff is more on the French side. They have a whole taxonomy of breakable sauces! Not in the same ballpark!

I think I finally understand why people get tired of the current discourse. It’s the networks we choose. Mine was severely restricted until recently because I ran out of Posts. Didn’t see too much of any topic. Added some yappers and now there’s a huge focus on certain topics.

Something to keep in mind, you gotta tend the garden carefully. Overfocus on certain “discourse” seems to be a result of bubbles - not bad ones necessarily! - but they can get hyper fixated and it becomes tiring easily.
