HB282 (Group 2 Fix) passed and yes I was a Co-sponsor of original HB282

We have a responsibility to protect services for our most vulnerable citizens, including those with developmental disabilities.  This budget funds disability services and ensures there continues to be NO waitlist.

I initially opposed the budget over last-minute changes affecting Group 2 First Responders until Gov. Ayotte stepped in. Her leadership led to HB282, a good fix. I kept my word, backed the budget, and ensured lasting benefits. Leadership, compromise, and principle prevailed.
