A lot of people upset by the call in the Chiefs game. As fans we complain every week about bad calls. Now people are complaining about them making the right call. Tough job being an official.

I'm tired of hearing politicians say they need more money (ours) to fix problems they helped create by misusing the money(ours) they already have.

So sad to hear of the passing of Bill Northey, a great leader and spokesperson for agriculture. Took on challenges with a smile and determination. A huge loss. No matter how high his position he was always down to earth. Prayers for his family.

There are probably several good reasons for supporting Ukraine but defending us against a possible future invasion while failing to address a current invasion of our country is not one of them.

Congressional hearings are mostly political speeches interrupted occasionally by actual questions. The search for truth seems secondary to political posturing.

I wish politicians would take responsibility for what they have done instead of trying to take credit for what they haven't done.

Nothing reveals the true position of so called leaders than their response (or lack there of) to social disturbances. Silence speaks louder than fake moral outrage.

I remember covering the WTO protests in Seattle in 1999. When I talked with some of the protesters they admitted they didn't really know what they were protesting about and some were paid to come and protest. Sounds similar to what's happening now at college campuses.

So glad I had the opportunity several years ago to visit Normandy and the D-Day beaches. Walking through the American cemetery and Omaha beach was a very moving experience. Forever grateful to those who fought and sacrificed for our freedom.

I can't imagine walking into another country and being allowed to vote in their elections and I don't think we should allow others to do so in ours.

47 years ago today I was a radio DJ doing my show when the bulletin came across the AP wire that Elvis had died. I shared the story with my listeners and played Elvis records the rest of my show. I found out the next day my boss wasn't an Elvis fan and almost fired me.

You can agree or disagree on the answers but congratulations to Bret Baier for asking real questions and pressing for answers. Our country would be better served if more in the media would do the same.

Seems very telling that DOGE critics are not complaining about wasteful spending but rather that it is being exposed and threatened.

I lost a good friend yesterday and so did agriculture. Mike Perrine started me on my farm broadcasting career path in the mid 1970's. Over the years he helped me and many other broadcasters as well. I will always be grateful for our friendship. He will certainly be missed.
