Positions are meant to be platforms for service, not pedestals for self-worth. True leadership is about building others, equipping them fully, and celebrating when they shine.

Every stage of life prepares us for what’s ahead. If we rush through the process, we risk missing the very lessons, strength, and growth that equip us to step into God’s promises.

We teach what we know, but we multiply who we are. In other words, we cannot pour out what we do not possess. If we want to positively impact those around us, we must first be whole and healthy ourselves.

Yesterday we had 30 middle school boys come try out for basketball!!! And while it was tough narrowing it down to 15, we are excited to announce the 2025 Bolton Academy JH Boys Basketball team. Congratulations, guys!!! #BoltonBuilt

The big things you want to see happen in your life are going to come through excellence in the small things.

Proverbs 16:3 — Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed (TPT).

Transformational coaches shout praise and whisper criticism. Shouting praise means we recognize someone in front of their peers, and whispering criticism means we coach them to get better. Both build better people and teams.

Coaches and leaders: When we complain, we lose power, effectiveness, and credibility as communicators and leaders. Most of all complaining is toxic and sabotages us and our team. It’s like vomiting. Afterwards, we feel better, but everyone around us feels sick.
