This afternoon AMSAT sent the following letter to S5Lab regarding the planned decommissioning of IO-117 (GreenCube). AMSAT stands ready to leverage our decades of experience to work to overcome any obstacles, regulatory or otherwise, to keeping IO-117 in service.

Never thought I'd start a petition about a satellite but I feel it's such a bad idea to turn off the GreenCube digipeater when it's a functional satellite that I've created one. S5Lab please take note!

A great example of how use of an antenna that supports circular polarization practically avoids fading caused by ionosphere, as signals reflected down are circularly polarized.

Both stations, OH3AA and OH3N, running Web Radio Control for easy remote access using a web browser!

The same flowgraph also runs on the browser using Web Assembly running C++, a graphical engine with the WebGPU backend, and the RTL-SDR connection using WebUSB. No installation is necessary.
