Exciting news from Wyre Forest NNR, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker nest cavities viewed by Ken & Linda Smith with endoscope on 2 May. Female incubating 7 eggs (not all visible in photo) in one and 6 tiny chicks just hatched at 2nd nest. Well done Natural England staff for finding.
Tomorrow I will be presenting at the Worcester & Malvern RSPB Group Beginning Birding event at #WildgooseNR on record submission, followed by an 'in the field' demo of #BirdTrack & #eBird. Suitable for beginners & seasoned pro's, giving tips on how to submit high quality records. See you there!
