Yellowing, almost white wheat that looks similar to frost injury? This is Manganese deficiency. No surprise considering the drier spring.

Manganese deficiency is stealing wheat yield! From the cold weather to the soil type, many causes to Mn deficiency. Add MnBooster 2.0 to your next pass to correct and bring back the yield axter.ca/product/mnboos…

Concentric rings or “ringtail” around the petiole is a sign of boron deficiency in cotton. Recommendation is 0.5 lbs B per acre.

Everybody's got a hungry💚especially Boron deficient cole crops, like this broccoli. Cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli have a high born requirement. Corky stem lesions, internal stem browning or hollowing and discolored curds can render a crop unmarketable. #SoilTest #MSUext

Zinc is an important micro nutrient in corn. It plays an important role in chlorophyll production, leaf and ear formation, and dry down at maturity. Putting liquid zinc in your 2x2 starter or early side-dress is a great way to apply zinc! #agronomytip #bagenetics

Patches of Manganese deficiency showing up in winter wheat in the usual high pH areas (pH 8). New growth is creating nutrient demand. 5kg/Ha of Manganese Sulphate was applied this morning.

Out scouting wheat for T3 fungicide timing. I'm noticing a fair amount of manganese deficiency in the local crop. Dry/oxygenated soils = lower mn availability. The recent rains have hopefully saturated enough to increase mn availability. Some flag leaves are now dark green.

Awesome early planted wheat on sandy soil. Tillering. But chickweed starting, and already manganese deficiency showing. First spray this fall!

To cultivate healthy cotton, growers must maintain boron levels. #Boron is needed for boll growth, however sandy and tropical soils have low CEC and drain nutrients. Cotton farmers must find ways to #sustainably acquire this crucial ingredient. borates.today/cotton-fiber-b… #cotton

#Zinc deficiency in plants can occur if leaf content falls <15ppm. Symptoms in maize include stunted growth, light green areas on new leaves, and white bands on the midrib. Deficiency symptoms can resemble Mn & Fe deficiencies, so a leaf tissue test is needed for confirmation

#Manganese immobility in plants results in deficiency symptoms appearing first on young leaves. Sensitive crops like soybeans, small grains, peanuts, cucurbits, onions, peas, radishes & beans are more vulnerable. Check the image for symptom descriptions for various crops.

This is a cross-section of a root nodule formed by the nitrogen-fixing bacteria rhizobium in symbiosis with a plant from the legume family. Within the nodule, bacteria convert atmospheric nitrogen into a plant-available form. Several key minerals drive this vital process.
