It's enraging that people treat "changing their minds" on Gaza like an abstract thought experiment without consequence. Every politician or journalist who denied/obscured the genocide has contributed to legitimizing the murder of Palestinians. They have blood on their hands.

This is even if we accept that this is a genuine change of heart, and not a cynical attempt to salvage reputations/minimize career damage once the investigations begin.

This is important. Look how Western media frames the story as if Israel is helping—rather than STARVING—Gaza. When Palestinians die of starvation, Israel is erased from headlines. When even a little aid supposedly trickles in, Israel is named as the provider. This is by design.

You see how it works? When bad things happen—like people dying of hunger—Israel’s culpability is removed even when the starvation is deliberate policy. When “good” things happen—like any aid getting in—Israel is named in a positive light. This is how you whitewash war crimes.

I think one reason western society is broken and can’t fix anything is that many people actually like the idea of supremacist hierarchy and think they’re divinely entitled to be on top of them. They want there to be losers so long as it’s not themselves. 0 sum self esteem logic.

These people don’t actually want to fix the problems they gripe about for all of society. They just want a fix for themselves. Which is why they always reject solutions involving drastic change to status quo. They seek marginal tweaks to pry loose narrow self favoring exploits.
