Some of the craziest robotic demos I've seen. Many bots were destroyed in the process. Looooove this! Mad respect to those robotic researchers (like Xuesu Xiao) who don't mind breaking things in the real world, to push these bots to their limits.

More world model goodness, this time coming from Amir Bar . Have a personal bias for this cos it involves sidewalk robot navigation (a rarity these days).

My biggest takeaway is if you have safe/compliant robot embodiment (mostly due to hardware design), then u can allow the robots to fail/break in the real world, while collecting those "failure cases". "Failure cases", paradoxically, probably have way higher signal to noise than

Very impressed with how far robotics + AI has come along! There were a ton of cool hackathon projects pushing on hardware and autonomy for new manipulation skills at the global LeRobot Hackathon this weekend. Just 5 years ago, these would have been impossible to do in 36 hours.
