We are thrilled to announce that our final winner of this year's Festival, taking home the award for Most Outstanding Show is Sarah Keyworth for their show My Eyes Are Up Here! Congratulations Sarah 🤩

Congratulations to this year's Best Newcomer award winner, Noah Szto! This award recognises an artist appearing at the Festival for the first time - Success In Everything was Noah's debut solo show!

This year's recipient of the Director's Choice Award is Ben Russell! This award is hand-picked by the Festival Director in consultation with industry peers for a show that deserves to be celebrated 😍

Next up is The People's Choice Award! As determined by you, the ticket-buying public, this year's People's Choice Award goes to Aaron Chen for having undeniably the most popular show at the Festival this year!

Congratulations to Claire Hooper for taking home this year's Piece of Wood award! This award is chosen by an ever-growing panel of previous winners, and is awarded purely for “doin’ good stuff ‘n’ that”.

Dougie Baldwin has taken home the Golden Gibbo! In honour of the late, great Lynda Gibson, this award aims to highlight a local, independent act that is pursuing their idea more than commercial gain.

We're excited to announce that the winner of this year's Pinder Prize is Bronwyn Kuss! Honouring John Pinder, Festival co-founder, this award supports the winning artist in traveling to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe later this year.

Introducing our first winner for 2024! The winner of the Funny Tonne award is Ryan Hamilton! Supported by ArtsHub, this award goes to the Funny Tonne-r with the best show review, as decided by a team of industry journalists.

I'm putting on an extra show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival April 20th at 10:45pm. Last year I put on an extra show and it sold 8/80 tickets. My regular show that night sold 72/80 tickets. Please tell people because I would really like this to not happen again. Cheers.
