Year 2 have spent this afternoon exploring what animals need to survive! After learning about the life cycles of different groups of animals, we sorted some images of needs to match different animals like cats, humans, snakes etc. Rowley Park Academy

This morning, Year 2 have started to independently write their narratives inspired by our text ‘Flotsam’. The children have composed their first plot point focusing on adjectives and prepositions to set the scene 🏖️✨ We can’t wait to develop our story tomorrow! Rowley Park Academy

This afternoon, Year 2 have started their working timeline that shows a variety of inventions from the Victoria Era. The children have enjoyed researching postal stamps, improvements of railways, ‘printed’ photos and the use of anaesthesia 🚂💉🎥🎞️ Rowley Park Academy

In DT this afternoon, Year 2 have enjoyed exploring different types of puppets as well as researching how puppets have evolved from 4000 years ago up until now! We are very excited to begin our designing process next week 🎪🎎✨ Rowley Park Academy
