Building an AI server at home for a new business venture. Current setup can’t handle deep computations. Using dual NVIDIA RTX 3090s, an Intel i9, and 128GB RAM to build an 8B parameter Meta 3.2 model with PyTorch.

Kevin Rose Starlink And it will improve significantly when Starship starts launching the third generation satellites at 350km altitude (5 ms speed of light round trip latency) with larger antennas that allow for multi-gigabit bandwidth

Only 5 more launches left for Starlink Direct to Cell in order to complete the first commercial constellation. We will continue to launch and improve the service after that in order to improve the coverage and latency for our partner telcos around the world.

Feeling great this morning! Just got my Lifeline Screening done, and my cholesterol and triglyceride levels have dropped drastically. I’ve never seen my cholesterol so low! It seems my love for sushi and salmon is really paying off. Healthy eating makes a difference!

This launch completes 24 planes of 13 sats per plane at a 53 deg inclination for the Direct to Cell constellation. Once raised to 360 km, it will be plugged in to service. Direct to Cell is open for business for any telco in the world that wants to eliminate dead zones for text

Historically, direct-to-cell satellite service has been complex to say the least. As T-Mobile and SpaceX progress toward a world without dead zones continues, I want to share why we're finally on the cusp of the golden age of communications. Check out my thoughts on telecom’s

Yesterday marked Day 1 of training for the 46-mile Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim Grand Canyon trek this October. The journey ahead is long, but every step counts toward reaching that breathtaking goal. Here’s to early mornings, challenging trails, and the determination to push further!

With 400 Starlink Direct to Cell sats launched, you can now send a text message from your phone via satellite within seconds at Northern US latitudes and Southern Australian and New Zealand latitudes.

Starlink direct to cell service is fantastic. Tonight while hiking, I got lost on the trails due to the previous severe weather. Starlink kept me connected while Globalstar was out of service range due to the trees. Thanks Ben Longmier for your fantastic work!

I saw this while trail running the other night. I have never seen anything like it. I went trail running again last night and it was gone, so I assume it was OK.

we are considering giving a (very) small number of GPT-5 pro queries each month to plus subscribers so they can try it out! i like it too. but yeah if you wanna pay us $1k a month for 2x the input tokens feels like we should find a way to make that happen...
