Today, survivors of gun violence are marching in Washington DC demanding a ban of assault weapons. I am at the cemetery visiting my daughter on what should have been her 19th birthday. I stand with the survivors in Washington DC.

Winnipeg doesn't have a crime problem. Winnipeg has a trauma, poverty, affordable housing, lack of mental health and addiction services problem.
