In a Democracy, with government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I wonder whether the nation’s “leaders” should instead be thought of as our “followers”.

This is an incredibly inappropriate response to people who are exercising their First Amendment rights and holding their elected officials accountable.

If you look for a reason to hate a person, eventually you'll find it. If you look for a reason to celebrate a person, eventually you'll find it. The former leads to resentment and destructive cynicism. The latter leads to happiness and growth for you and for those you celebrate.

Scientists can study something for YEARS and then in one day discover something that completely unravels all of their previous theories and hypotheses. I try to keep that in mind before getting too arrogant about what I think I know. Stay humble. Keep learning and growing. ✨❤️

Be kind. Be patient. Be loving. To yourself and to the perceived other. Life is harsh enough. We don’t need to make it more challenging. ❤️
