Starmer keeps making vague statements with no substance and crucially not saying how Labour will address issues. It is clear only Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives have a plan. #ITVdebate

Today, we’ll be launching our manifesto to deliver a safer, more secure and prosperous Britain. Here’s what we’ve announced so far 👇

1. A bold new model of National Service. We will up-skill the next generation, make our nation more secure & build a stronger national culture.

2. The Triple Lock Plus. We will give pensioners the dignity they deserve in retirement by cutting their taxes.

3. 100,000 more apprenticeships, paid for by scrapping rip-off degrees. Don’t forget - Labour’s policies would halve the number of apprenticeships.

4. Cracking-down on anti-social behaviour. We're empowering communities to build pride in place and give high streets a new lease of life.

5. For 30 towns, we’re giving them an extra £20 million each. Continuing our clear plan to level-up across the country.

6. Putting patients first. - Build or modernise 250 GP surgeries. - Expand Pharmacy First to free up a total 20 million GP appointments. - Build 50 new Community Diagnostic Centres.

7. Biological sex matters. We’ll protect single-sex spaces.

8. Making the UK the best place to be a veteran. - Enshrining veterans’ rights in law - Cutting the cost of the veterans railcard - Cutting taxes for those who employ veterans

9. Reforming child benefit. We're making the child benefit system fairer and saving 700,000 families £1,500.

10. Backing British drivers. - Ending Labour’s unfair ULEZ expansion - Putting local people in control by letting them vote in local referendums on 20mph zones & LTNs. - Road pricing schemes will never be introduced.

11. Building a fairer welfare system. To control the spiralling number of people moving onto welfare and save taxpayers £12 billion a year.

12. Delivering 8,000 more police officers - with every police ward receiving an additional officer. On top of the 20,000 extra we’ve delivered since 2019.

We will scrap, entirely, the main rate of self-employed National Insurance. A tax abolished, enterprise encouraged.

We believe in tax cuts. So for first time buyers purchasing a house up to £425,000, we’ll abolish stamp duty entirely. We will deliver 1.6 million new homes by speeding up planning on brownfield land in our inner cities and by scrapping EU laws.

By importing French-style union laws Labour will cripple innovative businesses in the UK.  But the Conservatives’ Manifesto will unleash the power of British innovation by investing £22bn to put the UK at the cutting edge of the future technologies.
