A great day recently for a young Shamrock Rovers FC fan from St Johns Ward as he reported for mascot duty against Drogheda United F.C. at Tallaght Stadium . As well as a full kit and piece in the programme, there was a meet up with manager and players! Thanks to Rovers for arranging.

Tickets were like gold dust, so a big thanks again to Flogas for allowing us get young fan Fionn to Croke Park yesterday on his birthday weekend. It wasn't Cork's day, but they'll be back ... with father and son cheering them on!

Thanks to the MBA Association of Ireland and in particular to Simon Holmes of Escape2Nature for organising a hike in spectacular Wicklow today in aid of our charity. A great day in itself, it doubled up as a practice run for those fundraisers taking on the Camino in September!

Michael's classmates in Pius BNS have each invited a hero to our launch. Among the invitees was the Lego character Zane. He can't come - "those little minions aren't going to fight themselves!" - but he did send some great Lego stuff for us to raffle. ...thanks LEGO !

Super day yesterday at the Michael Horgan Cup at Manortown United . Great sport with 8 teams competing .. congrats to winners Knocklyon. We raised over €1,200 thanks to baker Finn and mum Jenny for his irresistible cupcakes and to our friends JP & Grace for their jersey sale!

It was 2 years ago this week that Michael had his day as a #Spurs mascot, an occasion marked by a lovely memento in Downey's Bar in Dungarvan. Needless to say the place was rocking today, Michael looking down on Uncle Michael Drummy and the lads in a victory to remember!!

A huge thanks to a special group of people for a special weekend in Santiago: 48 fans raised endless laughs and over €60,000 for our charity, many walking 100km over two days in the process! It finished with a Memorial Mass in the Cathedral. Michael would have been 10 today❤️.

Victory in defeat: Terenure's Walnut Taverners failed to defend their 166 runs against TOULOUSE CRICKET CLUB (TCC) in the Michael Horgan T20 in Toulouse on Sunday, but they did raise €3,000 for our charity! A beautiful tribute to a cricket-mad boy. 🧡
