Some exciting news… We Great North Ventures are recruiting for two full time roles, a VC Analyst and an Executive Assistant. Please help spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested in working at an early stage VC fund. For details, see- greatnorthventures.com/careers/

We are still seeing a lot of great activity in our portfolio. It's not all doom and gloom in the VC space. Check Great North Venture's newsletter here: greatnorthventures.com/iralogix-close…

To the VC investors out there: do you have any best practices for executing and reporting on foreign investments? I'm just trying to understand the complexities that are present. HMU in DM if you have some valuable insights. Thx.

I've hired hundreds of high-quality/low-cost overseas folks in the last 5 years. I wasted time & money - until I started sending this playbook on their first day. Now, they know exactly what they need to do to earn my trust. RT this and comment “send” and I’ll DM you a copy.

When will I stop getting all this mail delivered to my house? I can't remember the last time I received something that I didn't already have access to online. Stop this madness!

Calling all startup founders. If you are raising a round of early stage capital (seed-series B), send me a DM. The VC market has slowed, but there are still a lot of investors. Great North Ventures is actively deploying it's $41M Fund 2.

Founders - if you can raise at these valuations, investors will confirm it relatively early in your process (and congrats!) If you can't, don't try to just bc "in-groupers" tweet about it all the time. That's a special level of privilege they often confuse for market rules.

I'm trying to mix in a little more Talk with my Rock Please reply with your #1 podcast (only 1, please.) - include title, topic, and platform. I'll start: Hidden Brain - all things human psychology - Spotify. I love how it calms me down after a crazy day.

#VCtwitter I’m trying to find good suggestions for free cap table training material. Looking for basic all the way through super complex scenarios. I consider myself an expert but I’ve always struggled to teach it.

I have a house listed for rent on Zillow. I immediately got a lot of messages from STR operators who want to arbitrage. They are willing to agree to great terms. Does anybody have experience renting to these people? What are the pros and cons?
