Youth offenders used to be required to comply with bail conditions. If they broke bail, they would be committing an offence. In 2016, the Labor government changed bail laws to exempt youth offenders from the offence of breaching bail. How’s that working out? 🤡

As Liberal Leader during Labor’s COVID curfews, I donated thousands of $$$ to fund a Supreme Court challenge to these cruel lockdowns. The day before the case went before the Court, Andrews ended the curfew. Labor locked us up to exercise political power over every one of us.

Labor is ripping over $106 million out of Victoria's courts because Labor can't manage money. Courts are now considering "what activities may need to stop" as a consequence. Cutting courts makes Victorians less safe.

The family of Ash Gordon has been campaigning with me and Brad Battin MP for stronger bail laws. They are strong and courageous people. This verdict will never bring back Ash, but hopefully it may deliver a small measure of justice. #springst
