A massive 🥳 to everyone who made this happen - a shout out to MFT NHS colleagues in Estates, Procurement, Pharmacy, HR, IT, nursing, AHPs, medics, managers & leaders to name a few!!! what an achievement!

Over the last two weeks, our staff have been running a #COVID19 drive through swabbing service which has tested over 700 frontline NHS colleagues and helped get over 250 back to work. You can watch a short video all about the service here vimeo.com/408548688

Let that sink in. More than half a million people, who devote their lives to caring for other people’s relatives, are paid less than what they need to live on. Shameful.

The test is quick and simple (and only a little uncomfortable!) but the team obviously take all the precautions necessary to protect themselves and their colleagues. Staff providing the service have been re-deployed from other community services and are simply amazing 👏👏

And worth noting this was filmed back on Wednesday so the figures quoted at the time will be much higher now MFT NHS

Pretty proud father today my middle son directed two of the indents and he says they used our name for the crisps on the first segment. Going to Leeds tomorrow to show my 97 year old Dad his name on channel 4.
