It has just dawned on me that the next time I go to theatre, I will (hopefully) be qualified! 😱

Well today marks my final day of placement as a student. I am so grateful to the staff at both trusts I have been to over the past three years. A sad goodbye to everyone but I am excited for the next step!

Four year ago I started a foundation degree wondering what I had gotten myself into! Today I received my board moderated marks stating I had passed with a first class honours. A huge thank you to the Radiography team at CCCU and my placement hospitals for their help and support!

Well, I started as a Radiographer four weeks ago and what a whirlwinds it's been! From taking that first X-ray to going up to theatre alone, it's been amazing. The amazing support from the team I work with has definitely contributed to how great it has all been.🩻

Today is Allied Health Professions Day! 🎉 From radiographers to orthoptists and dietitians to paramedics (and many more!) AHPs are the third-largest clinical workforce in the country. Thank you AHPs for the skill, dedication & professionalism you show every day. 💙
