Congratulations to Astley & Tyldesley's Emily Burgess on racing unbeaten to win the Women's Cycle Speedway League 15th Anniversary meeting at Wednesfield. A large turnout of women and girls celebrated the progress and success of women's cycle speedway racing in the UK.

Great news is that the UCI has announced that Indoor Cycle Speedway will be included in the programme for the 2027 Super World Cycling Championships in France. The Championships will be held between 24 August and 5 September. uci.org/pressrelease/t…

We were delighted to welcome #OldMancunians to school this afternoon for the latest meeting of OM Luncheon Club. Guests enjoyed a talk from OM Mike Hack (66–73), who shared insights into “My Life in Cycle Speedway”: a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our alumni community.
