The #Mets bullpen was great again today.

6 IP, 1 ER, 6 K, 3 BB

Two of the three walk-off wins for the #Mets came on this home stand. It was a disappointing 3-4 home stand of course but they got their 9th comeback win of the year and their second comeback win of four or more runs.

Well, that was a nice win for the #Mets ! They didn’t play well at all, but Francisco Lindor came up aces. Yay!

Mets prospect RHP Christian Scott will be called up to make his big league debut, likely on Saturday in Tampa, per source.

Scott was 99th on my top 100 prospects list entering the spring and has dealt at AAA since then: 25.1 IP, 12 H, 6 BB, 36 K. espn.com/mlb/insider/st…

What a great 5-4-3 started there by Brett Baty. His defense has really improved over there at third base. Hasn't taken his problems at the plate out there, that is for sure. #Mets

Adrian Houser pitched himself into a mess there in the 2nd, but he should've been out of there unscathed. Plays not made are usually the difference for teams.

Joey Wendle's problems in field just added a chapter. He had a routine 6-4 FC in the bag, but couldn't get the out at second. Sheesh. #Mets

If the rule is followed, this is wrong. The catcher just cannot be on the plate without the ball.

But personally, I don't think he did anything wrong. This is the game. And the rule - whether the umps got it right or wrong - stinks.

Lost in the mess at the end of last night's #Mets game was José Buttó.

He has a 2.57 ERA for the year, has allowed 2 runs or less in 4 of his 5 starts, has pitched into the 6th inning (or completed 6) in 4 of his 5 starts.

One of the problems with the new rules? They're often loosely interpreted rather than technically applied.

Look - Shota Imanaga was great for the Cubs tonight. But the offense for the #Mets had been pretty meager as a whole. They’ve scored 5 runs in these 3 games, 15 runs in 6 games on the home stand.

#Mets lose another heartbreaker. Great pitching but no offense at all. That was great play by the #Cubs in the end, it was close but the umps probably got it right in the end. Whether we like it or not.

Score more runs, and it doesn’t come down to that play.

This is a really tough replay review. On some angles, Alonso looks safe. On others, he looks out. It will mean the game. #Mets

JD Martínez nearly hit a game winning two run homer. Pete Crow Armstrong nearly robbed him. But it’s a double. It’s ok - #Mets are in business.

Another good start for José Buttó. Just a soft run over six innings tonight. He has a 2.57 ERA for the year. #Mets
