Very difficult and unprecedented times for food and agriculture! Hopefully we are “flattening “ the bottom of the curve!

It is great to see USDA purchasing much needed food to restock the food banks as 30 million Americans are unemployed and relying on food banks for the food needs.

So proud of #FueledByTurners Dairy and all the dairy industry and the efforts of @SecretarySonny and the USDA for initiating the Farmers to Families Food Boxes! It is a win-win-win. Win for dairy farmers, dairy processors and all our fellow citizens that need food during the pandemic!

It is so gratifying to see the Farmers to Families Food Boxes delivered to so many families and to know the incredible job USDA Ag Mktg Service did to turn an idea into reality in such a short time! People in food and agriculture always come together to help each other!

Delays at American ports are hurting SD businesses. Valley Queen Cheese in Milbank exports millions of pounds of lactose a year – that product is ready to ship but there aren’t enough containers to get the product out. Congress should pass #OSRA21 & get the supply chain moving.
