Making some upgrades to my custom built FPV monitor. The new version supports a detachable SMA antenna, embedded arduino, built-in 1S lipo and charger, and a 12v boost circuit. Still cost 2-3x less than the average commercial monitor. Files will be available on github soon.

Check out my project on hackaday.io for a breakdown and comprehensive overview of the process behind the design of my homemade FPV monitor! It's got a lot of great information about the design and doing DIY PCB etching at home. Let me know what you think! hackaday.io/project/160893…

Assembled version of my all-in-one quadcopter circuit board. Still making a few changes to the design, but everything functions properly. #electronics #circuitboard #pcbdesign #quadcopter

#ICYMI - While creating a programmable #quadcopter, Michael Delaney (Michael Delaney), a student at Avenues in NYC, went through various iterations and changes. Read about the relatable iterative process in this blog post: ultim.kr/2Bka8x7

A few photos of the drone project I’ve been working on, recently. There’s a lot to talk about with this project. Expect more info soon.

Messy bench = lots of projects. Working on a ping pong ball launcher... Inspired by XicoMBD's… instagram.com/p/BGughnzN1Ae/

Some PCB etching for an experimental project I am working on in Shenzhen, made using only Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide and Salt. Board is coated in UV soldermask for easy PCB layout transfer, 3 minutes in the sun and the layout was transferred. Super cool!
