For my #NESdev compo experiment, I ran into a bug where platforms would disappear only on the retrousb AVS. A new player wouldn't be able to tell if it was intentional or not. A firmware update fixed it. Does this sound like the handwriting of buggy illegal opcode emulation?

On a very related note, I've been extensively testing NESFab, a HLL designed specifically for the NES. It has super smooth workflow and generates decently fast code. pubby.games/nesfab.html It uses illegal opcodes quite a bit in its code generation, hence the previous tweet.

So #FLstudio got piano roll scripting. Been wanting to do this for a long time! My hope is that the brain will have an easier time learning/categorizing the feel of chords if music tools provide a way of visualize the harmonic relationship of notes. We'll see where this goes.
