Our thoughts are with all those affected by the fire in Dagenham at this very difficult time. We are in close contact with the London Fire Brigade, council and other agencies on the ground to ensure those affected are being looked after.

Despite the tough inheritance, this Government will do everything we can to help vulnerable families. I had a positive meeting with energy suppliers today about the steps we can take together to support those struggling to pay their bills this winter.
