🧵: Today's Forecast Concerns! An additional round of heavy rainfall is forecast across SFL today as a large convective band of showers & thunderstorms develops & move southward for the 3rd day in a row. Even a small duration of heavy rainfall could lead to more flash flooding!

At Douglas Park this morning with Commissioner @manolo4miami who’s distributing sandbags to help residents mitigate the impact of the heavy rains. From 10:00 AM until supplies run out, 5 sandbags will be delivered per resident, who must show ID with proof of residence.

Remain vigilant as forecasts show more rain expected in our area today. If you need sandbags, Commissioner @manolo4miami is distributing them until 5pm at Douglas Park. For non-emergency assistance call 3-1-1 or 305-468-5900.
