We faced some great competition yesterday and went 1-1. I hit .500 and was .666 on base. Then to a Rockies baseball game and today white water rafting! So much fun! We play our two pool games tomorrow at 8am and 10am at the Erie Community Park. Go Mustangs!! Tampa Mustangs Rene-Pynes 16U

My team played so well in Colorado! We hit lights out and made it into the National Power Pool championship bracket!! We finished T9th. I am so proud of my team!!

We went 2-0 today at the Backwards K Select 50. 220’ fences into the wind😒. I was 3-3 with a double, a triple, and a single off a change up. All oppo. 5/5 OB. Made some good plays at 3rd and hosed someone trying to steal third as C. Starting to get my mojo back😋! Go Mustangs!

We went 6-1 in the Backwards K Power 50 16U bracket but lost 2-4 in the semifinals to a good 16U Miami Stingrays Gold - Gator team that won the tournament. I was 7/11 AB 0.636 with 3 triples, 2 doubles and was 10/14 OB 0.714! Also had 2 diving catches today. Next stop California!

Heading to Cali for the PGF Nationals! Looking forward to being back with my Tampa Mustangs Rene-Pynes 16U , playing against the best teams in the country and helping them defend their 2023 Championship! This is where all the hard work during the season pays off! Lonni Alameda

I worked on throw downs this weekend. I was mixing up longer exchanges with higher velocity with (shorter exchanges and working my body straight to the base per Kaleigh Rafter OLY Florida State Softball 🥎 ) Here are a few including some new PR’s along the way stopping at 1.77 secs.
