Hello world! This is officially the first Tweet of the Mendota Heights Police Department. It took us a bit to get established, but here we are. Look for upcoming tweets from us about things happening in the cities of Mendota Heights, Mendota, and Lilydale.

As many know there have been recent theft from autos in the Mendota area (Axels & Lucky's 13). Remember when leaving items in your vehicle to put them out of sight or bring them inside with you. These appear to be crimes of opportunity.

Had a great turn out at the bonfire! We saw some great costumes!!!

Drive with extra caution today, the roads do not look bad but they are icy and slippery. Winter is here!

There's some coooold weather on the way. Stay in and stay warm if you can. If you must to go out, be smart about it. Dress for the weather, make sure your car has a full tank of gas, and don't take a triple dog dare!
