Yesterday Year5Monksdown continued with their 3D modelling unit today. Children research different styles of Tudor houses and came up with 4 different designs that they wanted to try and recreate making a note of the different sizes as well as the different materials required.

On Tuesday Year3@MonksdownPrimary were introduced to Scratch. Children created a new project. The focuse was on being able to create and insert sprites and backgrounds. Children also looked at how we can code a sprite to change costume when pressing the green flag.

Yesterday Mrs Kilbride Children have begun to create their own space invaders game. Today we focused on laying the β€˜foundations’ ready to start coding during the next lesson, children designed a different series of backgrounds in order for a program to broadcast a message.
