Reading, writing ... and precision ag? USask has a new precision ag certificate. "Students in the new Certificate in Precision Agriculture will learn how to manage crops precisely to increase both production and sustainability." Love to see this. precisionfarmingdealer.com/articles/5277-…

I love seeing lists like these that reflect how much progress we've made as a society. (I might be biased, but I would love to see more agtech or even a separate category for ag!) TIME time.com/best-invention…

Prediction time: What #agtech innovation will take centre stage in 2023 👇 A couple ideas: - New AI and software solutions to supply chain snags. - Innovations that reduce reliance on farm labour. - Any tech that allows you to do more with less.

Scale alone is no longer the future of ag. In the past, so much agricultural innovation was focused on a "bigger is better" approach. But when input costs are precariously high, that logic no longer holds. Now minimizing expenses and stretching resources is the priority.

Love this list — what leaders can learn from farmer👇 I'd add: - Eat what you grow. - Don't deplete your soil. It's the foundation of everything. - The real work begins after the harvest. Anything else? via Brian Solis

The value of precision ag is expected to more than double to $14.44 billion by 2027. There's so much innovation happening in this field and it's incredible to see farmers being provided with actionable, real-time data about every corner of their farms.
