I think part of Spring ISD is in Team Bettencourt district. Along with Tomball ISD Klein ISD Magnolia ISD Katy ISD Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Just in case someone needed to know the voting base. Incumbents still have time to make things right and be heroes. #txlege
Come on Team Bettencourt do what is right for public school students in Texas.
So proud of all the work the The Lion Lane School team does to ensure a strong foundation for #EveryChild. #LionLaneProud
SBISD largely outperformed a comparative group of area school districts on the Spring 2023 STAAR tests based on a report issued by Good Reason Houston! Read more about how SBISD shines in Good Reason Houston's analysis 📲 bit.ly/GoodReasonHous…
Thank you to Will Hickman, Member of the Texas State Board of Education, for your continued support of SBISD! Please read an important letter from SBISD Superintendent Jennifer Blaine and Board President Chris Earnest 📲 bit.ly/3MG2Zvx
Do your homework Mike Morath, Spring Branch ISD stopped growing years ago. And there aren’t enough teachers out there to fill positions so I am pretty sure over hiring isn’t the issue here… maybe it’s lack of state funding. 🤔
Maybe now that Greg Abbott has the grid under control for winter he can focus on getting public schools funded. Texas kiddos deserve it! #fullyfundSBISD Jennifer Parker Jennifer Blaine
Thank you, Greg Abbott and Mano DeAyala, for your time discussing SBISD and public education financing. I explained to our Gov how painful $35M in cuts were to the Spring Branch ISD community and how much this community cares about our schools.
What inflammatory public pronouncements from Spring Branch ISD are you referring to Team Bettencourt? Surely it’s not the letter we sent out to our community warning them of our coming budget crisis - every bit of which we were forced to follow through with because you can’t get anything
“Inflammatory public pronouncements” is code for: Spring Branch ISD dared to speak out about our elected reps in Austin not funding public education. Luckily for us, the First Amendment was written for this exact scenario- when WE THE PEOPLE want to criticize our government.
Thank you to our Spring Branch ISD community for their patience during the recovery from Beryl. Shout out and thank you to Spring Branch ISD Board for having the foresight to set aside $14 million in fund balance for catastrophic events. We have dipped well into those reserves
