Our lovely new nurse Olivia had to unexpectedly jump into our numbers for the first time at 3pm today. She smashed it and one of her patients even bought her a cupcake to say thank you for looking after him! Well done Olivia!

We have received the very sad news that our brilliant colleague Staff Nurse Isha Sesay passed away peacefully yesterday. We are overwhelmed and deeply saddened by this news and our thoughts are with her children and family!

We have started a Book of Condolence for people to write in which we will present to Isha’s family. All Isha’s colleagues and friends across Manchester Royal Infirmary are welcome to come and write some words.
