i wished more people would talk about how zack's love and admiration for angeal has shaped him to be the person he is. there would be no zack without angeal, with rebirth going as far as to show us he had a mock buster sword as a kid... zack loved him so goddamn much i'm

also the way he looks at the buster sword, as if angeal is still beside him... i'm losing it guys. i can't with their relationship, especially thinking about what happens between them in the end

one of my favorite scenes in the entirety of the game...... also, sephiroth being so tender with zack especially after confirmation that angeal behaved/looked so similarly to zack when he was younger completely reframes this scene and drives me insane
