Yes, an unknown number of kids are trying to rebuild their lives after people who should have known better operated on them and gave them hormones on extremely shaky evidence, but the bad guys are the people mentioning this and wanting it to stop.

If any woman, 70 or not is offered this mesh, stay away. It has already caused severe harm. One was a public profile and she has since lost her job due to multiple reconstructive surgeries to remove the mesh.

Complications in all mesh devices are many and multiple, not rare.
