Airplane crash at McKellips and Greenfield. Emergency crews are on scene and the intersection is closed. Please avoid the area and use alternate route.

Some traffic is open in the area of the crash. Northbound Greenfield is open but traffic has to go east at McKellips. Southbound Greenfield is still closed at McDowell.

Westbound and eastbound on McKellips is open with one lane moving in each direction. We are still advising that traffic stay out of the are.

Investigators will be working the scene throughout the night.

Update on traffic from last nights plane crash. Greenfield is still closed in both directions from McKellips to McDowell. All other traffic is open. If you work in the area that’s closed down, officers are letting people in to their work site.

This portion of the street will be closed most of the day today, possibly opening late this afternoon.
