Today, the Sectoral Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Cohesion held a consultative meeting with Ombudsman Kenya pertaining the ongoing clashes between Meru and Tharaka Nithi Counties'.

The debate on the Report of the Sectoral Committee on Lands, Economic and Physical Planning on the Meru County Annual Development Plan 2023/2024 started today during the Morning Sitting.

A Motion to consider and adopt the report on the Meru County Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2023/2024 was tabled today by the Chairperson Select Committee on County Budget and Appropriations, Hon. Jacob Mwirigi

A report of the Sectoral Committee on Labour, Public Service and Social Welfare on the consideration of Nominees to the Selection Panel of Meru County which shall recruit the CEO of the Meru County Public Service Board.

Today the Sectoral Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Cohesion invited H.E the Deputy Governor of Meru , Rev. Isaac Mutuma M'Ethingia to shed light on two letters he had written to the Assembly as per the Standing Orders.
