Today, our officers were out in Belle Vale with our Mounted team 🐴 Getting out on the horses brings so many smiles to people who pass, but is also crucial for our teams who will pick up intel along the way, and offer the community reassurance that we are here to keep you safe.

Police horses Silver & Oxberry and had a lovely afternoon visiting the Woodlands community centre. They met the staff & Children from the Woodlands kids club and a great time was had by everyone. Mer Pol Mounted #StandTall

Thank you to Mer Pol Mounted for visiting my office this afternoon. My team were so happy to meet Bo and Silver, as were several of my constituents who were passing by. Bo and Silver will be escorting the Grand National winner in a few weeks, so keep an eye out for them!!

A lovely long service ceremony this afternoon at Aintree Race Course including recognising 20 years service by PH’s Jake & Major ⁦Mer Pol Mounted⁩. It was a privilege to recognise the service of our dedicated officers & staff and to thank their family and friends.

Jake! What can I say! Happy Retirement my boy. You deserve this after 20 years doing the job you love. We’ve been through some scrapes me and you and I’ll never forget our time together. Now go and enjoy the field. Love you mate! And no I didn’t cry making this 🥹 Mer Pol Mounted

Today we said our goodbyes & good luck to Mersey Mounted PC! Next month he will be moving to Australia with his family to start a new adventure. We are gutted to see him go but it’s been a pleasure to work with him the last 4.5 years! We will miss you! #StandTall #MountedFamily

I’m going to miss everyone at Mer Pol Mounted so much. This was one of many gifts I received today was so special. Me and Jake who recently retired. Retirement isn’t on the cards for me just yet though as I start my new job with WA Police Force. Australia, we’re ready for you 🇦🇺
