After a very challenging week parenting a wilful toddler and a 6 week old I’m pleased to say that today has been much more relaxed and happy. Toddler has been struggling and regressed into some difficult and deliberate behaviours. Today she’s wonderful!

I won’t lie…some days are excruciatingly challenging right now but moments like this are pure magic. Living the dream 🥰

I didn’t realise Musk was rebranding Twitter completely. The logo just changed this morning for me. I don’t like it! The whole point is that the bird ‘tweets’ Nonsense!!

Oh to have the freedom of a husband!

It’s fine for a husband/father to come and go as they please on their days off, which is supposed to be family time. But the mother never gets to do that. The mother needs the help on those family days, not to feel like they are solo parenting 7 days a week…

…I should add that the only time I usually get to go an do something on my own is once a month and that I’d for a support group to talk about my dead baby! Hardly a break from the stresses of parenthood. Don’t get me wrong I love my children to the ends of the earth…

…but just to have that freedom so say ‘I’m going out for a few hours’ during the day on my own to do something that is actually a break and down time for me? Never happens.

SPRING will be hosting an International Wave of Light at Poole Park (by the War Memorial) to unite with bereaved families across the world by lighting a candle at 7pm on Sunday 15 October. We invite you to join us from 6.30pm at this special event 💜💙🕯
