Perhaps 1 reason Planning Bill is struggling is that NRF was initially designed to replace nutrient neutrality. NN/NRF are flawed in many ways, but also very difficult to understand unless you know. NN & nature recovery are not the same. Saying it’s a ‘win win’ annoys people.

Don’t take on a derelict medieval manor house just because your dad was desperately in love with it. It will bankrupt, frustrate & depress you. But it might also bring you joy & learning - and keep you entertained while your heart is breaking. Slowly getting there.
