I reviewed some clips of Lilandra from X-Men '97, after someone pointed out her skin tone, and wow was I way off! I'm glad gouache allows me to make these adjustments easily. Also doing some blue color swatch tests for her cloak 😊

Reworked an old piece of Haruka and Michiru. You may prefer the old one and that's okay! However, the 2024 version was what I had in my head in 2018, but I didn't know how to exactly bring that image to fruition just yet. I seem to have been so afraid of color back then haha!

My Phoenix #5 variant. Tried to capture the memories I had of collecting X-Men trading cards in the early 90s. That awesome feeling of excitedly sorting my haul of new cards on the drive home from the comic book shop. Wanted the warmth of those feelings to shine through here.
