I pushed the beta of DSAS that supports loading Elden Ring DLC characters to the P8treon beta build of DSAS. I might backport the ER DLC support to the latest public build at some point but it's actually kinda tedious to do and I don't feel like it right now lol

elden ring dlc datamining highlights - skeletons are now considered "Skeletons" - pity mechanic nerfed. boss stats reduced after dying 8+ times -> 10+ - foot size slider was added to data, but seems unused - references to "Godfreak" were removed - fixed bug w/ backwards long jump

- personality is no longer reduced by 5 when wearing no armor - max summons per-character: 100 -> 200 - all healing has been reduced by 5 - rune level up cost calculations: 40 * level + 55^(level/10) -> 5 - reduced odds of encountering infamous "alien" abduction event (by 5)

can we talk about how old hero just glows like a lightbulb for no reason

i've been complaining about vanilla elden ring bosses since the game came out and everyone defended it but now the dlc is doing the exact same things just pushed to more extremes and a lot of those same people are saying the bosses are badly designed

Adaptability walked so Scadutree Fragments could run

to the people at fromsoft involved in making the ice guy in the last level of the dlc: genuinely go fuck yourselves 🙂

i think ds2’s biggest flaw is that, if you're bad at the game, it feels like shit and is frustrating if you're good at it, it actually feels quite nice and is a lot more fun ppl complaining about adp and enemy hoards and it's not even remotely an issue when i play
