Article 40 = major zoning change with barely any neighborhood input. It would allow 2-families in all R0 & R1 zones — no real plan, just a rush to rezone. Even the ARB chair voted against it. Even John Worden says it’s being steamrolled.This isn’t smart planning. It’s a shortcut.

Thankfully Warrant Article 40 did not get the 2/3 vote needed to pass town meeting. Single family zoning in Arlington remains intact as is for now.

Not surprising. More blatant corruption in the state of Massachusetts.

She’s right on point. Even at the local level Massachusetts cities and town are suffering from gross financial mismanagement. Arlington, MA is a perfect example. Buckle up for the overrides!
