In November 1975, New Haven Federation of Teachers Local 933 went on strike in an effort to secure a fair contract. Today was the first in a series of events commemorating this action with a photo shoot in front of the New Haven County Courthouse.

Last Tuesday- It was hot but New Haven Federation of Teachers Local 933 turned out in solidarity to the New Haven Rising Rally! These photos are missing a few of us but you get the point 🙂

Magda, a New Haven Federation of Teachers Local 933 member, is someone who truly believes in uplifting ward 16 through community building and putting in the hard work. I had a great time door knocking with her and even got to meet some Cross parents! The election is coming up in September- cant stop wont stop!

Yesterday State Rep Juan Candelaria , State Rep Al Paolillo Sen Martin Looney, among others all stood and shared their endorsement of support for Magda Ana Natal, New Haven Federation of Teachers Local 933 Wilbur Cross teacher, and lifelong New Haven resident, in her bid for Alder of Ward 16.
